BenefitsInteractive is priced per employee per month (PEPM) based on enrolled employees, with simple tiers by group size. Every subscription includes 3 admin/broker seats.
Billing options
Plans are contracted with your broker or BenefitsInteractive directly. Charges are invoiced outside this website—typically by invoice with bank transfer (ACH) or recurring bank debits you authorize with your institution. There is no in-app credit card checkout today.
Monthly
Pay month‑to‑month at standard PEPM rates.
Annual
Pay annually and save 20% (effectively 2.4 months free each year).
Core and Pro packages
PEPM rates scale by employer size below. Separately, each group selects a Core or Pro Group Admin package. Core covers the full employee experience and standard admin tools; Pro adds advanced intelligence modules and SMS. Your broker quotes the package that fits your team.
Essential Group Admin paired with complete employee-facing benefits education at your quoted PEPM.

- Implementation, support, and ongoing product updates
Reserved for Pro
Daily Group Brief, Compliance, Recruitment, Plan Benchmarking, and SMS texting are not included on Core. Upgrade to Pro to enable these modules.
Same platform and PEPM structure as Core with advanced Group Admin capabilities quoted for organizations that want the full toolkit.
Everything in Core, plus:
- Daily Group Brief — snapshot of enrollment, learning, and benefit activity
- Compliance — tools to track required communications and completions
- Recruitment — candidate benefit overviews and invite links for prospective hires
- Plan Benchmarking — broker-shared plan comparisons and optional worksite recommendation summaries for HR (not third-party industry benchmark data)

Pro is configured per employer; your BenefitsInteractive representative or broker folds it into your overall quote alongside PEPM.
Project set up fee
Setup fees waived for all new group cases that are contracted prior to August 15, 2026.

- Configuration for multiple locations/divisions
- Enhanced reporting for HR and brokers
- Support for more complex plan designs and content libraries
Built for enterprise‑scale deployments with many locations, plans, and stakeholder teams
Includes everything in Medium, plus:
- Enterprise rollout support and launch planning
- Configuration for multiple business units and segments
- Optional alignment with existing communication calendars and campaigns
Your exact PEPM will be quoted within these ranges based on configuration, rollout scope, and support requirements. Annual billing applies a 20% discount to the total subscription.
AI Technology
AI usage in excess of $10/month billed quarterly. AI costs: Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite at $0.25/M input and $1.50/M output tokens (Google Standard list rates).
Admin and broker seats
Give the right people direct access to dashboards and controls.
- 3 admin/broker users included with every employer (for example: HR lead, broker, and one backup)
- Additional admin or broker users: $12 per seat per month
Additional seats are ideal for regional HR, additional broker team members, or other stakeholders who need direct insight and configuration access. Extra seats are also included in the 20% annual discount when billed annually.

Base platform only (small group, 150 employees)
Base platform (monthly): 150 employees × 1.30 PEPM (example within 1.15–1.50 range) = $195 per month
3 admin/broker seats included
With extra admin seats (monthly)
Base platform: 150 employees × 1.30 PEPM = $195 per month
2 additional admin/broker users × $12 per seat per month = $24 per month
Total with 5 admins: $219 per month
Annual option with 20% discount
Monthly total: $219
Standard annual (monthly billing): $219 × 12 = $2,628.00 per year
Annual (paid upfront, 20% discount): $2,628.00 × 0.80 = $2,102.40 per year
